History

Brandvlei Cellar was founded in 1955 by a group of local grape growers. Over the decades, it has developed into one of the major wine producers in the Breede River region, processing grapes from numerous member farms. The cellar is situated on Doornrivier Road near Worcester, Western Cape, an area renowned for its fertile soils, warm climate, and ideal grape-growing conditions. The Breede River Valley is one of South Africa’s largest wine-producing regions.
