A medium bodied red with full berry flavours. Velvety smooth and perfectly balanced. Ageing potential of 3-5 years. Food Pairing: In general Merlot pairs well with chicken and other light meats as well as lightly-spiced dark meats. With medium tannin and lower acidity you’ll find Merlot pairs well with many foods.
This medium bodied wine shows well integrated fruits such as plums, cherry and white pepper spice, with well integrated wood characters from the 8 month French oak barrel maturation. The wine has a sweet middle palate and a long pleasing liquorice aftertaste. It will cellar well, with an ageing potential of 3 to 6 years.
