Many wine farms in the region dates back three or four generations of proud pioneering farmers. The close relationship between grower and wine maker can be enjoyed by everyone. To be able to make timeless, elegant, balanced wines is the goal of all our wine makers.

This has been said thousands of times, but wine is made in the vineyards. It is a simple fact: you can make bad wine from good grapes – but you can not make good wine from bad grapes!  And we can proclaim this with pride – our growers and wine makers are committed to make superb wines at great value that everybody will enjoy.

Most of the well renowned wine farms and cellars are represented by Platform 62 Wine Boutique in Ashton. Daily wine tasting is available for visitors to the Robertson Wine Valley.

Some popular wine cellars that we recomend to visit are Zandvliet, Ashton Cellar, Excelsior, Arabella, Bushmans Pad, and Van Loveren.
