Remember the first time the intense aroma of Sauvignon Blanc smacked you in the face? Have you been chasing that in other wines? In combination with Sémillon, Sauvignon blanc grapes also produce some of the most exceptional white wines of Bordeaux, including the sweetest Sauternes (sometimes with Muscadel too) and the driest Graves, which are often aged in wood (sometimes labeled as Blanc Fumé).
